Filming
JOHN FALKINER is based in Verbier, Switzerland. His vast experience in the mountains skiing and climbing, plus a broad knowledge of the needs of film crews and world wide contacts have made him an indispensable member of many film projects since 1975. He has worked on over 70 films, as skier, athlete, stuntman, safety, production, tracking and high altitude video cameraman, location assistant and location manager.
He has worked locations from north of the arctic circle to the Himalaya, and the southern hemisphere. His experience with large and small crews is extensive, combined with a natural ability to work with and relate to people of all nationalities, which is especially important on a mobile film unit.
Languages: Fluent English, French and passable German.
